Kale Crispy Chips

Ingredients:

Kale

1 Tbsp. of Oil ( can be vegetable, olive, or peanut oil)

Sea Salt

That’s it!!

Now, rip up the kale into bite size chips and toss them into a mixing bowl. When you think you have enough to fill a cookie sheet (not over lapping), mix in your choice of oil. Add a little sea salt to taste.  Ohhh now how simple is that!!

Bake at 350′ for 20 min.   Note: that it could be less eg. 15min pending on the size which you rip the kale into.

 Take out to cool.

I emphasize to try not to taste right away… LOL, or you might discover just how easy they melt in your mouth. Before you know it, you’ll have to quickly make another cookie sheet full before the family discovers you ate the first batch! 🙂

If you have to,  just tell them that it’s really healthy for them, and they won’t like it. Maybe you will have better luck and it will work for you ….it never works around here.  😦

*oh!  One more idea I’ve read where you can crush these and sprinkle over popcorn! I haven’t tried it but sounds good 🙂

If you have any suggestions, like maybe adding other flavours (lemon?) to the mix and have tried it successfully, please share in the comments… we’re game!
