4 Raw Beets
2 Raw Carrots
4 Raw Swiss Chard (medium size)
1 inch Raw Ginger
2 handful Raisins
Wash all vegetables clean. Remove tops, bottoms and blemishes when necessary.
You can use a food processor if you have one, or a simple hand grater.
Shred/grate into a large bowl the beets, carrots, swiss chard and ginger. Mix well. Then, mix in the raisins, adding enough to more or less compliment with the ginger. Finally, splash in enough red wine to moisten (not drench) it all. Keep in refrigerator.
